shredded extra sharp cheddar cheese (Cracker Barrel)

elbow macaroni

carnation milk

(to taste)
Skim milk
-
(to taste)
Cracker Barrel extra sharp cheddar cheese
Steps
In medium sauce pan, combine cornstarch, salt, pepper
Add milk and stir until it all thickens (add some milk to cornstarch to prevent lumpiness)
Add cheese, melt into milk mixture (consistency will resemble pancake batter)
Cook macaroni al dente
Grease pan with butter and add macaroni, cheese sauce mix and extra cheddar
Continue adding cheese until macaroni and cheese is mixed well
Add salt, pepper to taste
Add carnation milk and skim milk over entire mix
Poke holes in macaroni to allow milk to settle into the mixture
Once edges are moist, the pan can go into the oven
Cook, uncover until lightly browned
Allow to sit and cool after removing
